REALITY OF YOUR BELOVED PROPHET MUHAMMAD

52. ‘Alayka salaatu-llahi thumma salaamuhu ** fa-bar’haamu jiddun ‘aashiqun feeka waamiqu

52. May blessing and peace of Allah be upon you. Barham (Niass) is your beloved and sincere yearner in you.

53. Ata‘arifu man ahwaahu haqaan muhammadan ** nabiyyun li-kulli l-anbiyaa wah’wa saabiqu

53. Do you know the reality of your beloved (i.e.) Muhammad? He is Apostle of all the Apostles and he is their leader.

54. Ata‘arifuhu dhaaka-shafee‘u wa inahu ** liwaa l hamdu fii kafaehi wal kullu raamiqu

54. Do you know him?.. that is the intercessor and verily he upholds banner of glory and everybody accords respect for him.

55. Ata‘arifu Taaha man yaluudhu bi-hikwihi ** abuu l bashari l ‘aalii wa Bar’haamu laahiqu

55. Do you know Taha?..whom the father of all men the exalted (Adam) adhered to. And Bar’ham (Niass) also embraced him.

56. wa Nuuhun wa Muusaa thumma ‘eesaa wa kuluhum ** yaraa anna aadhaa bi-shafaa‘ati laa’iqu

56. And Noah (Nuh), Moses (Musa), Jesus (Isa) and host of other (exalted men) rely on his intercession.

57. fa-yashfa‘u mahmuudul maqaami mushaffa‘an ** wa mu‘utaa su’aalan wah’wa bil haqqi waathiqu

57. Then, the possessor of praiseworthy stage will intercede. His request will be granted and he will established by the truth.

58. araanii ma‘a l ‘illaati armuqu nah’wahu ** urajii-tifaataan min’hu tabdu l khawaariqu

58. I see that I am defected, yet I gravitate towards him. I hope that he will have mercy on me and marvellous things will appear thereafter.

59. idhaa-tafata l Haadii ilayya fa-innahu ** yughatii zulaamii nuuruhu wal haqaa’iqu

59. If al-Hadi could attend to me, verily his light and realities will cover up (all) my iniquities.

60. wa yul’hiqunii bi-saabiqeena takarrumaa ** yubaasitunii fii l anbiyaa wa yuraafiqu

60. He will honourably adjunct me with the foremost, pave way for me in his followers and admit (me to his fold).

61. wa yasma‘u minnee dhikrahu wa madeehahu ** yufaakhirunii fii l anbiyaa wa yuraafiqu

61. And he will listen to his commemoration and eulogy from me. He will be proud of me before other Apostles and associate me with them.

62. aquulu lahu sah’bii wa ahlu mawaddatii ** fa-qaala-‘dkhuluu sah’ba l khadeemi nusaabiqu

62. I will say to him, here are my companions and my lovers. He would say; companions of the servant (Niass), enter (the paradise) you are the foremost.

63. ‘alaehi salaatu-llahi thumma salaamuhu ** wa aalin wa sah’bin saajaluu wa tasaabaquu

63. May blessing and peace of Allah be upon him, (and upon his) family and companions who competes and excelled.
